
1.5 tsp ceremonial grade matcha
1−2 tsp cherry blossom syrup
8 oz of your choice of milk
1 oz hot water (~170 F)
ice
1. sift 1.5 tsp of matcha powder into a bowl to prevent clumps
2. add 1 oz hot water and whisk vigorously until smooth and frothy
3. in a good glass, mix the cherry blossom syrup with your milk of choice
4. add ice then slowly pour the prepared matcha over the milk to create a layered effect
a combination of rose syrup and a drop of vanilla can mimic the flavor of cherry blossom
